How to ask
Email hello@ivashkin.dev from the address on the account. One line is enough — "refund my last charge" will do it. You will get an answer within two working days, and the refund is started the same day it is agreed.
The 14 days
The clock starts on the day of the charge, not the day you signed up — so a renewal you forgot about is covered exactly as a first payment is. It applies to monthly ($3) and annual ($30) alike, and there is no limit on how much you drew in the meantime.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you also have a statutory right to withdraw within fourteen days. This policy is written to be at least as good as that right in every case, and where it somehow is not, the statutory right wins.
After the 14 days
Cancel instead, from your account page. The subscription stops renewing and Premium keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for — you are not cut off on the day you press it, and you can undo it any time before that date. The part you already paid for is not refunded, because you had it.
Two things are always refunded, whenever they happened: a charge that was taken twice, and a charge taken after a cancellation that should have stopped it. Those are our mistakes, and a deadline has nothing to do with them.
Beyond that, ask anyway. An annual plan bought by accident on a Friday, a card charged for a service somebody stopped using in March — these get answered by a person, not a rule, and the answer is usually yes.
Where the money actually goes
Paddle is the merchant of record for every sale, so the refund is issued by them and lands back on the card or account that paid, in the currency it was taken in. Any tax charged comes back with it. Paddle release it immediately; how long your bank takes after that is your bank's business, and it is usually five to ten working days.
We cannot refund to a different card, or as credit, or in cash. It goes back the way it came.
What happens to your charts
We cancel the subscription when we issue a refund, so the account then goes back to free on the terms every ended plan gets: 7 days during which nothing changes and everything keeps working, with warnings by email, and only then is anything above the free limits removed. Nothing is deleted on the day the money moves.
Your account itself stays. Your charts that fit the free plan stay, with their codes, so anything embedding them keeps drawing.
Please ask before you dispute
A chargeback costs more than the subscription does and takes months to resolve, and this page exists so that nobody needs one. Email us first. If you have already raised one, tell us anyway — we will not fight a dispute over a refund we would have given.
This policy is part of the terms of service.
